Vention is a Montreal-based industrial automation company building a modular platform that lets manufacturers design, order, deploy, and operate automated equipment at scale. Their platform spans the full lifecycle of an automation project, from early scoping and CAD design to ordering, deployment, and operation on the factory floor.

I joined Vention as a senior product designer, working end-to-end on the customer portal and core platform experience. My role sat at the intersection of product strategy, UX architecture, and execution. I owned large, cross-cutting problem spaces rather than isolated features, and worked closely with product managers, engineers, account executives, and application engineers. My focus was on making complex automation projects understandable, traceable, and safe to execute inside the platform.

I led design work on the portal experience that connects onboarding, projects, designs, quotes, orders, and operations. This included rethinking navigation models, defining clear ownership boundaries between products, and reducing context switching across the platform.
